Mark's Words of Wisdom

I am often asked how to do various things with and to Windows 95. This is a collection of notes that I have garnered over the last few years on the subject.

Please feel free to have a read and use any of the advice given. But please note that it is advice only - I will NOT feel at all guilty if you try anything mentioned here and it does something drastic to your system!

The golden rule is that if you feel in any doubt -then don't do it!

Having said that, most of what is here is pretty straight forward, and worth trying if you want to improve the way you do things, or to simply learn more about your computer.

One other thing to bear in mind always, is that for most things in Windows there is often more than one way to achieve something. Just because I have a preferred way to do something does not mean it is the right or only way - it is simply that I usually find it easiest that way.
